Welcome to Pinewood Combined Probus Club members and visitorsSummer has come and gone, but we still have warm weather where we can enjoy the outdoors with a range of activities our club organisers have planned for us. So its time to sign up for those activities and get out there to enjoy yourselves both indoors and outside. Our activities program for March and April is outlined below, so click on the links below or go to the Club Calendar for more information. As usual you can sign up and pay for activities at the Monthly Meeting, or pay by direct debit to the club's bank account. Privacy Remember for Privacy of members, the Club Calendar is 'Private, for Members Only'. If you go to the Calendar without logging in, it will be blank - no activities will be displayed. Club Members will need to login to see details of events. You may click on the grey hyperlinks below to access the Calendar, but will still need to Login to see event details. |

Outings and Travel Options. On the Calendar Menu, under Other Clubs you will find the latest Regional outings offered by other clubs, including Overseas Trips, plus extended travel options from Probus South Pacific. |
Committee Nominations
The Probus New Year starts on April 1st, when the elected officers and the volunteer activity leaders take on their role. Nominations for all elected committee positions are now being sought.
Please give serious thought about becoming one of our committee members for the 2020 year. If our Probus Club is to continue to prosper and provide the happy friendly Club we now have, we need YOU to nominate for a committee position.
If you are interested in any of the positions, please ring any of our current committee members and have a chat about what that position involves. We would love to hear from you.
The Committee Nomination Form is available here and also from the Secretary. Nomination forms are due at the Monthly Meeting on Thursday 13th February 2020.
The new committee will be elected at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 12th March 2020.
The Club holds formal meetings on the second Thursday of each month at the Mount Waverley Youth Centre, 45 Miller Street Mount Waverley. See the Club Meetings page for location and Club Calendar for dates. The meeting starts at 10:00 AM and the first hour involves club business and reports followed by a break for morning tea. The 2nd hour we usually have a guest speaker, which is always entertaining, humorous or provides information relevant to retirees.
The next Club Meeting will be held on Thursday 12th March 2020 followed by our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. There will not be a Speaker this month due to the AGM being held.
LUNCH after the MEETING
Lunch at 12.30 will be at the Burvale Hotel, corner of Springvale Road and Burwood Highway, Nunawading. There is plenty of parking for all.
Lunch in the bistro offers a Seniors Home Style Classics Menu with dishes ranging from $12 up to $17 for a main course as well as a full A La Carte Menu with a wide range of choice. Drinks are available at reasonable prices.
Bookings are made by adding your name to the List on the Activities Table by the Morning Tea Break on the day.
